Abstract: (1620 Views) |
Mohammad Reza Pahlavi after August 1958, in addition to using military and security repressive forces, needed an ideology to reduce the cost of maintaining power and to justify and legitimize the existing political order. For this reason, he began to formulate and propagate an ideology called the "ideology of the White Revolution" or "Pahlavism." The fall of the Pahlavi regime was a sign of the failure of this ideology to achieve its goals and characteristics. . The main question is "why did the ideology of the Pahlavi regime fail to fulfill its legitimizing, justifying and justifying functions?" The research hypothesis is that "cognitive distortions of the ideology of the White Revolution, which were incompatibility with the historical situation, distortion of reality by resorting to absolute things and the inadequacy of this ideology to know the world, were the main reasons for the failure of the ideology of the White Revolution." |
