Globalization is viewed to be a process that, as a result of the compression of space and time, all human beings integrate into a relatively conscious global society. This development can pose opportunities and threats for different societies. The present article attempts to address the threats to the globalization of Shiite political Islam by using a descriptive-analytical approach. The present study emphasizes the assumption that, given the characteristics and features of globalization that above all represent the embodiment of cultural-political values, there will be threats to Islam's political, cultural, essential, political, and economic spheres. The findings support the assumption that, given the Shiite political Islam's beliefs with the globalized economic, political, and cultural doctrines of the West, threats arise in various fields.
