Convergence Strategies in the Political Relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan

The relationship between Iran and Azerbaijan after independence in 1991 has experienced various ups and downs, a period of convergence and a period of divergence, so in such an atmosphere, different discourses have been formed in Azerbaijan, which creates a favorable environment for The growth and expansion of anti-Islamic Republic groups in Iran has led to the fact that sometimes the political atmosphere in Azerbaijan has a negative attitude towards Iran. In this regard, the present article will try to provide solutions for convergence in the political relations between the two countries by analyzing and explaining the factors and obstacles of convergence between the two countries, using the theoretical framework of convergence with the library and field method. The relationship between Iran and Azerbaijan needs convergence solutions to eliminate the problems that have arisen between the two governments over time.
