The development of modern communication technologies has increased the access of young people to social networks. Taking advantage of this phenomenon affects the priorities and orientation of people. The study as the extacted of a research intended to study the relation of social nets with revolutionary identity. The theoretical model of this research is a combination of the theories of Gibbins, Giddens and Jameson. The hypotheses of the research are: the more people are exposed to social networks, the more they tend to modern values, and through that their revolutionary identity is weakened. This research was done with the survey method. The statistical population of the research is citizens over 15 years of age in Tehran. The research findings show that exposure to social networks has a positive relationship with modern values and a negative relationship with revolutionary identity.
