AB - Examining the supervisory performance of the members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly during the first to tenth terms, it quantitatively indicates that the representatives of each period had a special performance compared to the other periods. Considering that the social context of the members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly has changed in each period; Using quantitative methods and descriptive statistics, this study tries to answer the question that what effect have the social context of the representatives, especially age, gender and level of education, had on their supervisory performance? The research findings also indicate that the two components of age and education have been effective in the supervisory performance of representatives. Representatives between the ages of 40 and 45 and those of higher education were more likely to participate in oversight than others.
