Application of Max Weber's Charismatic Theory in the Analysis of the Mojahedin Khalq

Fleeing the country in August 1981 and establishing members of the organization in Iraq, with the support and assistance of Saddam being supported by USA in 1986, leadership of the Mojahedin Khalq succeeded in creating an organization that is an example of a militaristic organization led by charismatic leader. An organization in which legitimacy, structure, power, leadership, recruitment, and performance of members can be explained using Weber's view of "charismatic authority". This article, by innovating in the analysis, function and structure of the Mojahedin Khalq in accordance with Weber's charismatic theory, explains the nature of the formation and operation of it and in response to the question: "What may be taken as the application of Weber's charismatic view of the Mojahedin Khalq?" "Given the application of the components of Weber's charisma theory to the nature and performance of the organization, it can be viewed as an objective example of the continuation of Hitler's charismatic leadership style for this theory in the contemporary period. The method of the study is a descriptive-analytical one.
