By studying the value functions of self-sacrifice, man recognizes the shortest path to spiritual excellence and realizes what goals this path sets for him. Each of these functions, in addition to preserving previous achievements, can also be effective in deepening the Shiite value-belief roots for the new generation. The present research has been done with the library-based method and with the aim of recognizing the value-belief functions of self-sacrifice and the effective fields in their transmission and the growths of the generation of the Islamic Revolution. The results of the research show that the value-belief functions of self-sacrifice provide the new generation of revolution with the ability to attain high degrees of divinity and spiritual ascent. Proudness, perseverance and stability, change-seeking, desire to be led, social solidarity and hope for the future are the results of the functions of self-sacrifice that help new approaches in protecting the achievements of the revolution and conquering new peaks of progress.
